I am trying to transfer data files from our ICP-MS instrument which uses ELAN version 3.0 hotfix 3 (build 3, 0.6, 48d) to our LIMS system. The interpreter accepts files in *.txt, *.prn and *.cvs but it seems that the ELAN program exports files in what is believed to be a binary format. Is there some way to designate what type of file is produced when quantifying data for this program? I ran into a similar issue with our HPLC system which uses chem station and luckily it did have a section where I could designate what type of file is exported. Does ELAN have the same capabilities? If so where do I find this at?
