Does anybody know how to overlay chromatograms in Xcalibur?

I've looked everywhere, I've asked my colleagues. No idea. The help section is the least helpful thing I've ever seen too.... It's in the tools section of Chemstation but sadly there's no read across by the looks of things :?

Cheers in advance
In my version of Xcalibur Qual Browser:

-Right Click in Chromatogram
-Chose "Display Options" from pop-up menu
-In Style Tab - Set "Arrangement" from 2D to 3D.
-In 3D options set "Elevation" to 0 (zero). I believe the default is 30. This should give an "overlay" effect.

... yes, absolutely, and when you then want to overlay with all chromatograms on the same Y-axis scaling, right click on the pinned chromatogram window, select "Ranges", tick the fixed range box at the top, and then you can enter whatever Y-axis scale you want for each chromatogram. Unfortunately if you're overlaying 6 chromatograms to the same scale you'll have to type the same number 6 times.
I personally don't care for Xcalibur so I export my data from .RAW to .CDF using Xcalibur File Converter. Then I import in Chemstation under Import AIA format (or something like that). It converts the .CDF file to a .D data folder system with the renamed .CDF file inside. Then you can use Chemstation for file processing if you have it available. :D

Unfortunately I don't have a copy of chemstation easily accessible, it's what I used to use before I moved jobs!

I'll give your instructions a go though and fingers crossed we'll get something out. A little bit overcomplicated I feel!

Cheers,
For Xcalbur's Qual Browser:
* Pin the Chromatogram at the top-right corner.
* Right-click and go to Ranges
* Select a 2nd (or 3rd, 4th...) check box to enable the second trace.
* At the bottom, pick your RAW file, then Mass Range, then m/z 91 to extract m/z 91 from the TIC. If you just want full scan, then leave the Plot Type as TIC.
* Close the pop-up box.
* If you cannot see the overlays, right-click on the chromatogram and select Display Options>Stacked/Overlayed to switch between view styles.

Also, there is a new product coming out called FreeStyle that will be the next-generation of QualBrowser, so keep your eyes peeled for the release. It's definitely a new take on the QualBrowser experience, and gets rid of the pinning step that so many of you have requested.
