Hi,

I would like to ask the correct procedure on how to configure GC ALS to GCMS. I tried to configure the instrument using "Config" then add new instrument. I write the GPIB address of GC and MSD but when I started up the unit and toggled down the Inlet/Injection Types, I cannot see GC ALS? I am using G1512A Autosampler. Am I missing something? Please help.
Do you have the HPIB and remote cable going from the G1512A?
Best Regards,
Alex Hummell

Are you trying to add the ALS to existing instrument? Then you don't "Add Instrument", you just change the configuration of your existing instrument in Configuration Editor.

Yes, get all your cables plugged in.
