We have Agilent LCMS 6130 which is having a problem for not stable for higher masses giving error message

"difficulty with ion optics electronics(0200)-Fragmentor Fault".I have checked again fragmentor
without calibrant and the result as below:

(1)Positive Mode- (2)Negative Mode

50 vdc-->50 vdc 50vdc-->(-)49.1 vdc
100 vdc-->100 vdc 100 vdc-->(-)99 vdc
150 vdc-->150 vdc 150 vdc-->(-)148.7vdc
200 vdc-->200 vdc 200 vdc-->(-)198.7vdc
250 vdc-->249.8 vdc 250 vdc-->(-)248.6 vdc
300 vdc-->299.8 vdc 300 vdc-->(-)298.4vdc
350 vdc-->349.6 vdc 350 vdc-->(-)348.2vdc
400 vdc--> 400->276 vdc 400 vdc-->(-)399->314vdc

I have found that when scan 400 v for Negative mode it is fluctuating ,start at (-)399v and wtinin a second it gradually come down and stop (-) 314 v

Vacuum is OK N2 gas is OK

Any experience for root cause of this problem
Hi
I've received 1100 Agilent 1946 MSD. I've cleaned and started it up.
for few days, I could get clean Negative signals, but once I've run another test, no signals.
I've tried diagnostic test and get this error: "difficulty with ion optics electronics, fragmentor failed"

I've tried cleaning spray chamber, but no change. Capcurrent in fluctuation from 8-24 nA.
any recommendations?
I found my problem source.
It's from capillary.

Could you please expound on what the issue was with the capillary? My machine is having very similar symptoms.

You are working on daily basis then, without any change, you loose signal completely in negative mode. positive mode is intact, but no signal in negative mode. you do Ion optic test and it fails in max voltage or some other parts. you repeat test and same result.
all that you've to do is open your capillary box, take it out, and clean it and all teflon parts. clean it's front and back seats. then, mount it and run like jet!

Thanks, I will try that!
