Dear all,
I have in the process of developing a method for agaric acid in food items using LCMSMS any one have the extraction method of this please reply
Any method may well be dependent on the particular matrix from which the analyte is to be extracted.
I have seen, via Google search, the use of alcohol (EtOH) to extract from a mushroom species. Article in Russian (abstract in English) so cannot provide explicit details.
Suggest you review structure and solubility to customize a method for your application.
There is a good technical note " Method Development and troubleshooting guide (anion exchange extraction procedure" pubslihed by Varian (Now Agilent).
I used it to measure agaric acid in mushroom.
