Hey there,

I get no signal. Running all the diagnostic tests the Trap Offset and the Intermultipole Lens failed. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot
given the age of the system, there is a very real risk that this is a failure of some board inside. If you're in Europe, you should definitely seek advice from Thermo. They will almost certainly be very helpful about advising on likely causes without cost, but if it is a failed board, unfortunately you may be looking at a fairly expensive repair.
Thanks for your advice. After shutting down the system everything seemed all right. no problems with trap offset etc. I got good signal. But after some measurements it came back. No signal etc. We´ll ask Thermo...
Could be a serious case of charging.. Might require a good thorough clean.
Kind regards
