Who used TSQ Vantage? we have purchased a TSQ Vantage. However, we have some problem while operation. Do you known the different between Centroid data and Profile data? Because, when acquire with profile data mode, intensity higher than 100 fold when acquire with centroid mode.

Hi
This is not a problem. The Vantage is working as designed. In Centroid mode the signal is scaled down. So what you might see as sensitivity issue is a feature of the software. You will also notice that you noise levels go down in centroid mode.. And at the end of the day it is the signal to noise that is important and not a given intensity on a peak..
I hope this eases your worries and I hope you will enjoy your Vantage. If nor please respond again or contact your local Thermo Scientific service organisation.
