how do I improve from MS side?
Hi

You could increase the EM voltage ( watch out for increased noise though ), run in SIM mode, play around with the tune parameters, use a lower bleed column perhaps, try different m/z ions.
Make sure inlet temperature is high enough to desorb the target analyte but not too high to damage the coating on the fiber.

Also you may need to salt out your analyte if doing aqueous samples.
The past is there to guide us into the future, not to dwell in.
