Could you please help me how to prepare mobile phase from tris buffered HN4NO3 at pH 7. I am a new user of HPLC and I found this forum is so helpful. Also, Did anybody have a method to determine the peaks concentrations and how can I integrated the peaks? I need to use SEC to characterise humic acid-bound metals in soil solution. any help? thanks in advance for your help.
For the buffer solution my recommendation is to purchase Standard buffers for example from E.Merck.
When you are running a SEC-ICP-MS System I guess for Instrument controll you have a Computer and Software. The Software should do the Peak Integration and will calculate, when you run a Standard sample before and calibration curves, the concentration.
To invest some Money and buy a book about High Performance Liquid chromatography I think is also a good idea. In Addition please Review carefully the Manual of your Instrument, or contact the manufacturer of the Instrument for free literature and publications.
Good luck
