I am looking for an HPLC method (preferably reverse phase with UV or RI detection) for quantifying surfactants in acrylic resins used in industrial coatings. Would like to be able to detect compounds such as sodium lauryl sulfate, tridecyl alcohol ethoxylate, and alkyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate. Ideally I would like to use our C18 column and UV spectrophotometer for detection, but I understand that some surfactants do not have chromophores. Does anyone know of an effective method for this type of analysis?

Indirect UV detection will be the only Chance you have.
