Hi everyone

I must determine HCl and Ammonia adsorbed on alumina by GC-MS. Is it possible to do or I should choose another method?
Any experience would be appreciated.
You have ammonium chloride on the alumina unless there is an excess of one of the two acid base pair.

Spectroscopy or ion chromatography are other techniques you can try. GC-MS? That would be a waste of time.

Good luck
