Varian Star Workstation 6.4.1 Errors

Hello,

I have a fleet of Varian CP-4900 Micro-GC's running on Varian Star Workstation v. 6.4.1. I have run into an "Error 4" and cannot determine the cause of this error. Unfortunately I cannot find a list of reasons for errors either, probably because of the age of the software hindering my searches.

As a result, my Varian essentially shuts off for a random amount of time before starting back up. It seemingly has no set length where it is shut down, nor a set length between these shut down periods. I cannot seem to get this to reoccur in our lab, only while the system is out in the field, and even then it is not able to be tracked when and/or where it will occur.

Can anyone inform me what causes Error #4?

Also, if possible, does anyone have a list of error codes for VS Workstation 6.4.1 so that I may try to troubleshoot any other issues in the future?
