We have a issue with our 240 MS, The diagnostics test for Multiplier/Dynode looks erratic. The multiplier voltage is around -1400v and dynode voltage is around -7800v. The agilent says the converdion dynode voltage has to be around + or - 10,000v. But we are getting only - 7800V.
Also we are getting error message as "Conversion dynode is not receiving proper voltage".
Cleaned ion trap and isolated 240 MS from GC with dead nut. Did bake out for 18 hours.
Still the conversion dynode shows same value, It no where around 10,000KV.
The diagnostics test for system verfication has failed.
Not able to perform auto tune.
Last electron multiplier gain voltage is around 1425 V
Looking for suggestions and solutions.
