We have in our lab a 1100 LC system and we want to conect to a Metrohm Bioscan detector, I have been reading and it seems that the easiest way is to control the Bioscan in the ICNet interface and record the analog output of the detector and send it to Chemstation, but for this we would need the Agilent A/D box that we do not have.
Other option, more cheaper, would be to conect the ALS (autosampler) to the Bioscan using the BCD cables for the ALS (that we already have), but Bioscan system does not expect a start signal, it wants to send it. Does anyone know if you can configure the ALS in the Chemstation for waiting for an input signal to start the run?? I suspect that the ALS would take different times to inject but I think I can compensate that using an injection program.
Thanks in advance for the help!!
