I hope someone can give me an advice. My Ion source gets dirty very fast. I have to clean the ion volume almost every week and the ionblock every 3 weeks or so. We test pesticides and make a cleanup before we measure. The ionblock didnt look so yellow after 3 month before the problem began. The only thing i can think of is a leak so oxygen can come in. Im going to change the column and the fittings.

DId someone have the same problem ?

Before changing column and fittings execute test for leaks. You will get some information where the leak exist (provided it is a leak).
I already did that and there is no leak detektable. That's why i waited so long to finally do that. maybe the column is to old and starts leaking.
I know what happend now, the tiny plastic cap on the transferline was broken.
