Empower 2 data acquisition issue

I'm having trouble acquiring data from a 2420 ELSD. I can control the instrument and monitor the baseline just fine in Empower, but when I hit inject no data trace appears, and I get "data missing" in the review. This system works well with the PDA. There are no related messages in the message center.

Any ideas out there?

Hi,

I'd agree with DR on this. You need an inject start from the ELSD to the Alliance. You'll also need a stop flow from the ELSD to the Alliance also if it is not already in place. This will help prevent the drift tube from getting flooded.

EDIT: Well it works for the first injection - then on subsequent injections there is no signal

I'm getting exactly the same problem, first injection works then ELSD remains on time 0.00 and will not start for the second or any subsequent injection - did you find a solution??

So your start worked, now a stop cable?
