Hi all! I was thinking about ion suppression in my Agilent 6520 QTOF today. I was wondering what factors effect the QUANTITY of ion suppression. Here are some of my thoughts in no particular order:

1. Molecule size
2. Molecule quantity (more of it, more suppression!)
3. Specific atoms in the molecule. Maybe P has a larger affect than N
4. Similar functional groups in the desired molecule vs matrix.

I was wondering if there was any generally known rules about ion suppression. Thanks again!
