Agilent LC/MS issues

Hello all,

I am currently running a very old Agilent LC/MS (1100/1946D) with Chemstation B.04.03. That's how it is was sold to us and I've just recently learned that there are several compatibility issues.

My question is this: when I put the system in standby mode, the drying gas flow does not drop down to 3.0 L/min. It remains at 7.0 L/min (or the gas flow of whatever method was running). Is there a way to access the standby parameters and verify that the setting is in fact 3.0 L/min? Or is this yet another miscommunication between the software and the system?

Thanks in advance for any help!
Let me know if you find an answer.
I am looking for someone to train me on the 6340 system. My number is 702 686 7164 if you know some one ask to call
