Hello all,

I am considering to purchase a CAD. Any comment would be appreciated especially with respect to sensitivity/LOD and overvall preformance in comparison to ELSD.

There is also an article at the application notebook of the LC GC North America, " HPLC analysis of non volatile analytes using charged aerosol detection, June 2005, 101-106, that describes quite well the detector and makes some comparisons between the CAD and the ELSD. Of course the article have been written by the people developed the CAD so take with a grain of salt everything they say...
