Hi,

I had to chang the rotor seal in the injection Valve and now I need to startup the whole HPLC system to get the air out of it. Does anyone know how to proceed or can give me a link? I have been looking for a long time but found no description how to proceed.

The HPLC system is from SHIMADZU with the following components:

- LC-20AD pump
- RID-10A detector
- DGU-20A3 solvent degasser
- CTO-20A oven
- 6 position injection valve (Rheodyne) and an Aminex column

I would be very glad if anyone could provide help!
Simply , disconnect the column inlet , change the rheodyne valve to inject position , start the pump and adjust the flow rate to 3 ml/min , wait 10 seconds and connect the column again .
Sorry , I forgot to mention :
Adjust the flow rate to appropriate value before connecting the column.

3ml/min flow is too high for analytical column.
Thank you very much!
