Before we used 10% lutein raw material from Roche and our own analysis results were always good.Recently we bought 10 % lutein R.M. from another company, and the results we got were lower than the Label Claim value. we checked the extract solution--seems not dissolved completely.
---we tried : water+EtOH /( Sometimes + add drops pretex-6L) , Sonicated 15 min---then add some organic solvents.
Anyone knows how to break down the coating to release lutein completely, please help!
Have you tried sonicating the beadlets in DMSO?
