I was just wondering if anyone has had trouble with high air and water peaks with the Varian 2000 GC/MS? Would anyone know the source of the problem? What was your plan of attack in correcting this? Any info would be great. Thank you.

Check the injector end of the column, the injector oring, gas filter and the transferline end of column if you have small/medium leak, change the septum too.
If you have a large leak you would have already broken your filament i guess, and probably your turbo isn't even at full speed.
