Discussions about GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, and other "coupled" analytical techniques.
The most common ion source for GC-MS is electron impact. Sample is introduced in the gas phase coming off the capillary column. Is it possible to run gc and lc on one mass spectrometer after changing the source,
Thanks for your answers
Yes it is.. I have such a setup... But for GC you have to an APCI ( OR water's version called APGC) source, NOT EI.Is it possible to run gc and lc on one mass spectrometer after changing the source,
