Help! HP1050 ALS - Plunger Home Not Found

Could someone please explain to me the steps that should be taken to resolve this issue? The 1050 autosampler produces an error every time upon reboot "plunger home not found". I have disconnected and checked all the connections. It appears all the connections (including board plugs) are snug.

Thanks for any suggestions.
