HI EVERY ONE ..

i have GC giving wrong reading near to actual reading but with continually fluctuations, i have changed pressure controller but the problem still and the model 50 valve has been checked.

do u guys think >> the column can cause this?? i need your inspiration..

I really need help !!
The column is unlikely to cause this. Perhaps a major leak where the column is installed in the inlet...

Check the pressure at the back of the instrument. If you do not have sufficient pressure over the pressure you have set for the head of your colulmn, the pressure regulator will not be able to regulate properly. As a rule you should have at least 20 PSI pressure above the pressure ouy set for your column head pressure.
Too little information has been given to help you with your process analyzer.

This automated GC can produce errors if the peaks have changed their retention times enough to be outside the integration windows, or if new analytes have reached the analytical column and are now interfering with the integration.

You should be talking to your vendor, sending them a chromatogram, or speaking to a senior engineer on your plant site with experience with your analyzer.

This is not the place to get help for YOUR GC and YOUR situation.

I have about 600 applications in the field that are using Applied Automation GC analyzers. Please, believe me and get the technical assistance you need from the proper source.

best wishes,

Rod
And, looking at the reply from Chromatographer1 -- given that this is a more complex system than a simple GC system. One can not rule out the column from being part of the problem without more information...
The column is unlikely to cause this.
you are right about this .. thank thank you for sharing..

thank you Mr. chromatographer1 i appreciate your help and i will try to call vendor.
