We are experiencing numerous cases where we are unable to achieve the 8500 required for the Chemical Performance test according to the Agilent OQ/PV protocol. Has anyone else experience this issue and any resolutions?

Hi
Firstly which inlet / detector setup do you have.
is the system leak tight
are you using an A/S, is the syringe ok, is the software configured correctly for the syringe
is this normal column or restriction column
are you using chemstation
is the liner correct
has the gold seal been replaced

Hi
If the above are correct then perhaps check the FID flows, should not make too much difference though.
Also double check the syringe configuration is set to 5ul rather than 10ul.
Sometimes it is worth carrying out the leak check with the column installed, i.e. push a septa onto the column end.
Also check the split flow is correct.
good luck
