Our lab recently purchased an waters Acquity i class, and has many standard acquities. Could someone please tell me how to handle the wash and purge lines? I'm thinking the are like strong and weak needle wash, but not completely sure. Thanks-cliff
Hi,

What Sample manger have you? SM_FTN or SM_FL. This will define what each line is for. I think you have the SM_FTN. Wash line is for the needle wash and should be capable of removing the sample from your needle. The purge should be the same composition as your initial conditions minus any salts.
