Hi Folks,

Have two system's that in the last week have given an over voltage error. Very intermittent on the two systems. anyone an idea what could be faulty. It's either the pump mechanism or the CPU. Would be easier to maybe send it off for repair, but need o know for sure unless we spend alotof money that is an easy fix.
Anyone encounter this fault before. Both pumps are Quat pumps.

Hi Bull!

The pressure measurement in 1100 Quaternary pumps is between the two piston chamber. So if your pumps have obstruction before the pressure measurement point (Damper) the pump coud indicate an overcurrent error. Replace the Outlet Ball Valve and check the capillary between the OBV and the damper.

Hope this helps:

Thanks for the reply.

I'll check that tomorrow on the systems.

Hi Folks,

Checked over the two pumps and couldn't find a blockage. Replaced the outlet check valve and then pressurised the system up to 370Bar and no issues good delta also of less than 1%.
have removed the column and had left the system pumping 5mL/min for the rest of the day and over night. This should test the pump if the mechanism is going to fail.
