Anybody using nugenesis to automate backup?

I've been trying to get Nugenesis to work consistently but to no avail. It will run for a few days but will eventually require that i restart the archive agent on the client or restart the SDMS server.

Anybody else having these issues? I'm 100% positive everything is setup correctly, I'm wondering if the product is defective.

Any progress? You're using it to backup your Empower DB?

Works fine for me. I'm using both the latest version of Empower and SDMS.

Waters setup everything for us back in November. As far as I am aware, it has been working ever since without issue.

I never heard of any version of SDMS will cause this kind of problem.
I would check both the event manager on both the client pc and the SDMS server to see if any error occurred.
This seems to be the problem on the service.

We've installed the service on two different clients but it still crashes for no apparent reason. If i keep restarting the service it will continue to backup as expected, however this defeats the purpose.

We thought it my be an issue with citrix as we had a citrix box as the client. We set it up to use a lace box instead with no luck.
