Hi everbody,

I want to learn difference of sample manager between waters uplc h-class,agilent 1290 infinity and waters 2695.
agilent 1290, exterior and interior of needle wash with our mobile phase ,ın uplc h-class strong and weak wash.. what about 2695? does the interior of needle wash?

what is the difference and which one is the better?
please help me?
Hi,

H-Class doesn't have a weak and strong wash. The binary SM has a weak and strong wash.
The H-Class FTN has a needle wash which washes the outside of the needle. As the flow path is through the needle then the inside is washed or flushed with the mobile phase.
2695 has a wash sequence which will wash the outside of the needle, on an injection the mobile phase flows through the needle so that washes/flushes the needle.
The Agilent I can't say for the 1290 but the 1100/1200 module the flow path is through needle also and it has a wash solution in one of the vials.
The H-Class is a UPLC/HPLC system. The 2695 is a HPLC. The 1290 is meant to be UPLC but don't think it manages to perform as a true UPLC.
If your looking for which system to buy then you need to ask more questions of the sales rep's on all the systems. If your looking for our opinion then ask away. I would go for the H-Class system.
