Determine O2 consumption

I selected GC-TCD using pack Shin carbon ST micropacked column to determine O2 concentration.
To see whether O2 concentration reduced during the time course of shelf life study and correlate to volatile oxidation products. Questions are;

Which O2 standard grade that I need to confirm the O2 peak.
What would be a thing I need to be aware of during this experiment?
In case of syringe, I do have only 50 mL gas tight syringe, can I use a normal 10 uL syringe instead?
Is there any other method else to clarify this phenomenon? or to compare with this method!!
Thanks a lot for all comments! :)

As oxygen is an atmospheric gas, really you should be piping the sample in and injecting via a gas sampling valve. Choose a standard mixture that is close to what you expect to find. I'm not sure what you are trying to measure the oxygen in?

If you are trying to measure low levels of O2 (ppm levels) you should not be using a carbon based GC packing.
