We are analysing Genotoxic imp. in one of our compund .
( i.e Methyl , Ethyl & isopropyl analouge )
Can anaybody helpus for further developing the method on Headspace , as we have reached approx. 30 ppm response ( LOD valve ) , but we need approx. 5ppm .

Any specific solvent used or column etc
Thanks
Namaste,

On most GCs you should be able to get 5 ppm easily.
Give more details about your methode et instrument.

Hi for GPI analysis you can use split methods and you should be able to go down to 5 ppm. When working with pharma companies we successfully used more polar columns for GPI analysis as most of these analytes do have polar function. Successful phase used are Rtx-200 and the Rxi-17Sil MS,. They have stability up to 350C and show good peak shapes. If you need details plse contact the company.
