I was hoping someone could give me an idea about what to consider when deciding on what to set loop fill time, loop equilibration time and injection time when using a Agilent G1888 HS with a HP6890 GC. I would also appreciate links to good online resources to learn about theory and method development of HS GC methods. I also understand this is a business so links to online pay classes are good too. ty

There are good books written by authors associated with Perkin Elmer, the pioneer in headspace analysis.
Headspace is mostly common sense, and a good intuition can be gained by a little experimentation. Read a little about Henry's law and spend a little time experimenting and you will be on your way to comprehending the technique.
Best wishes,
Rod

Hi
One favourite of mine is "Static headspace-gasChromatography" theory and practise by Bruno Kolb and Leslie S. Ettre.
General recommendations/intervals for the parameters you mentioned should be included in your manual from Agilent.
