I'm a rooky in Empower.
I just have prepared my first Sample method set.
There I prepared several injections of the same vial, same method set.
First looks quite good, the system was not stabilized.
Second is really good.
Third seems as no injection was done, chromatogram seems a blank baseline with two wide peaks later than the elution time for the peaks expected.
I don't understand anything
May I have your help?
Were you using a gradient for your instrument method?
As I told you before I'm a real rookie.
And Empower is a CDS for initiated people.
I've told with technical people from Waters and they told me that when Empower says Depth vial needle doesn't mean depth but how far from the bottom of vial should arrive the needle.
I decided 15 mm depth but the system understood the opposite: 15mm far from the bottom of vial.
I could not test it yet, but it seems a logic explanation that needle doesn't arrive to the sample solution.
Completely rookie.
I'm sorry
Tipp:

Have a look at the Empower Help, there is a lot of information in there.
Just use "F1" button, whenever you observe an unkown/new item or window.
Also, right click on things. I just started using Empower myself. It takes a little while to get used to but it gets easier. Let me know if there is anything else you get stuck on, and I'll try to help.
Thanks a lot. We will get on touch
