Software for Agilent 7890A

Hi,
I am currently using Agilent Chemstation software to operate 5975C MSD with 7890A GC. I am planning to get another 7890A (GC only) which I can operate in different temperature pragrams with different column, etc. I am wondering what kind of software would be possible choice for the 7890A. My sales representative recommeded OpenLAB CDS ChemStatrion Workstation, but it is very expensive software, so I want to know exactly what I am getting. I will have autosampler with the new GC. Any advice from person who is currently using 7890A with some other software, or someone who has experience with OpenLAB CDS ChemStation would be greatly appreciated.

I'm 80% sure you can keep your current software aka "Enviroquant" aka "Chemstation for MSD". It's sufficient for single peak analytes but a bit troublesome for time range analytes (ie. TPH).

Your Chemstation Software for the 7890/5975 GC/MS can run an additional GC with NO additional software..you use another instance of the chemstation software....no costs no upgrades......
