Hi there,

I've been running Agilent HPLC using EZChrom software (version 3.3.2) for the last half year, and it's a switch from the familiar ChemStation, hence I need some help finding my ways around.

I've searched and read the user's manual for EZChrom, but I can't find anything about where I can assign 'post sequence command' in the software. What I want to do is set the system up in a way that after the sequence is finished, the system automatically went to idle, or the 'standby' in ChemStation (where everything is grayed out). Is there any way to recreate this post sequence command in EZChrom?

At the moment we had made-do with setting a 'post sequence' method with pumps at 0 ml/min, detector lamps off (or not used), and set the run time to infinite. But this also means that the computer still runs it as if it's a proper run.

Thanks.

Another little question. Why is it that when I opne a data file that is collected with Diode Array detector, the pressure file shows up, but if I open data that's from a Fluorescent detector the pressure file doesn't come up? Is there any way to set it so I can see the pressure file for FLD data as well? Thanks.
Hi, did you specify this last run with the shutdown method as a 'shutdown' run type in the sequence?
