Hello,

I'm attempting to get a mass of some metal clusters by ESI on our Shimadzu LCMS-2020. The literature suggests low cone voltages. I've been unable to locate a cone voltage parameter, or determine the equivalent Shimadzu name. Does anyone have any experience with this?

The Shimadzu LCMS has a Q-array voltage you can change from the autotune value which is set as default in the MS tab of your method details page. Try setting a lower value for further details call there support at 800-477-1227

Hi,
The equivalant to cone voltage is the DL (desolvation line) bias. By default it is set to 0. If yoy infuse your compound or perform FIA you can automatically optimize this paramter to have the highest signal for your cluster.

Kind regards,
