Hi,

I am looking for a simple but powerful peak deconvolution software for my aqueous HPLC system. I have some sofar but most of them are embedded in a super-complicated program packages.
Can anybody help me with that?
I would appreciate if somebody can tell me about his/her experience.

Cheers,
Chris
There is a free package - AMDIS. It can be downloaded from the NIST web site (NIST.GOV). I don't know how well it will work with LC/MS data. The biggest issue is that deconvolution requies several mass signals so that it can sort out where individual components rise and fall based on changes in the ratios of the masses along the trace. With LC/MS you do not have many ions, so this could be a problem. But, given the price - it only costs the time of downloading the software and giving it a try. (It is designed for GC/MS, but if you can get a compatible data format, you should be able to see what you can do with it.)
