I'm looking to get the current on time for my Deuterium lamp on my Agilent 1260 HPLC system. I'm running the new B.04 (RC.net) software, but I don't think that matters.

I know I need to use the print sendmodule$ command with the moduleID of NDAD. I also know the variable name of the on time (D_ON)

I'm having some difficulties piecing everything together to get the syntax right.

Any help would be much appreciated.
I don't think you need to use the macro commands. I don't have any experience of that version of ChemStation, but on my version (B.01.03) you can get the lamp hours from the Diagnosis screen.

In the Diagnosis screen left click on the Lamp Module and select Show Details. This should show a diagram of the detector. Left click the bulb and and select Update Variables and this should show the lamp hours on screen.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

This is true, but I'm trying to get the "on time" to display on my custom report template. From what I can tell, it's not built into the standard objects in the Report Layout module so I'd like to pull it directly out of the DAD.

Also, the B.04 software eliminated the diagnosis module and put it in Agilent's Lab Advisor.

I've been looking into this a little more, and I'd like to find a list of the command set (that's from the help file) for the DAD. I've found "ser" for serial number, and IDN is in the help file, but I can't seem to find any other commands. Does anybody know of a list anywhere?

Thanks again!
Anybody know where I can find the command sets for each of the modules of an Agilent 1260? I need to use them with the sendmodule$ function. The help file doesn't really help much
