Dear All,

Can anyone give the refernce related to bandwidth for HPLC detector and Spectrophotometer (UV).

What are the regulatory requirement for the subject..... and the limits....

Regards
Mohammad.
As far as I know, there are no regulatory requirements or limits on bandwidth per se (certainly not in UV detectors for LC). Inappropriate choice of bandwidth can increase noise (if it's too narrow), decrease absorbance or adversely affect specificity (it it's too broad), but it is the result that matters, not the bandwidth itself.
