Hi All,
I am trying to detect the presence of glutamic acid in my protein hydrolysate.
Has anyone tried this before using an HPLC method?
If so, can you please recommend: -
Column:
Eluent:
Flow rate:
Injection volume:
Detection (nm):
What retention time was obtained?
Regards
Gavin

Is it not possible to use a C18 column and only one mobile phase?

The chromatography conditions might be a good starting point. I would recommend to do SPE before going to HPLC, to remove all proteins in your sample. Good luck.
