Hi,

I have a Varian 9065 DAD detector and am in desperate need of a lamp for it. I have contacted Varian and have had no luck. Does anyone know where I could get one or if anyone has one they no longer need.
The lamp is a Hamamatsu L1888 and the number on the lamp is E3406.

Cheers Aman

List the deuterium Lamp in their catalog
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
I have contacted Hamamatsu who say they still supply the lamp in the US. I have tried to get it from the US but have had no luck finding the product.
Is it due to custom issues that you can't get it from Hamamatsu directly?

I used to work with non-chromatography systems that used their products. I remembered due to export issues, we had to go through a third party to obtain their products. Is there any company/organisation who is willing to do that for you?
Yes that was the main reason we couldn't get direct from Hamamstu. I do believe one of my collegues managed find one and get it here.

Thanks Aman
