Hi All

I'm busy analyasing Mebeverine HCl by HPLC. The standard and sample are dissolved in water. During the analyses we have discovered that the area of the mebeverine peak decreases over time. We have tried using amber glassware/vials, but the area still decreases over time. The BP 2011 has a uv method for mebeverine but we would like to use a stability indicating HPLC method. The BP method ueses 0.1M HCl as the solvent for the UV. We will try this solvent to see if mebeverine is more stable in this solvent. Has anyone experienced similar problems with mebeverine?

Have not worked with the substance myself but seems to be a bunch of articles around for stability analysis by HPLC.
