In autotune i m getting peak width adjust error.
In manual tune no effect through width gain and width offsets in scan mode i m getting very wide and noisy peaks. I did ion optics cleaning during cleaning My ion optics assembly octopole rods soldering was damaged. Octopole rods free from Soldering and now my RF is not stable and its fluctuating.
whats the reason and solution of wide and noisy peaks.
How can I Solder these rods?
Is it possible?
Any other required info will available.
Please suggest

Sorry for my english.
Thanks
My answerer is the obvious. You need to contact Agilent. You instrument is literally broken.

thanks for your reply David

i have changed octopole. And Now i m gettng proper RF and MSD Passing all diagnostic test.
But Still autotune showing "Peak width adjust Error" and wide and noisy peaks in manual tune scan mode.

Thanks and Regards

I don't know if this will help or not, but sometimes if an instrument's tune file has got a very long way away from where it ought to be, the autotune can't find its way back. If it's possible to reset the factory defaults, it can be helpful to do so, and then run autotune (save your tunefile before resetting).

I believe reset to factory defaults is somewhere in the file menu of the tune page.

thanks for ur suggestion
i Have reset factory defaults but no progress.
I m gaining mid masses like 622 on 608 and 922 at 898 with a good absorbance but low mass 118 showing very low abundance and high masses having noise there with a high abundance.
If u need picture of this than i should provide u but tell me how?

i m Suspicious about Desolvation assembly. It may be a cause for wide and noisy peaks ? please suggest me how can i check desolvation assembly.?

Thanks a lot again
