Dionex Pump Problem

I have this Dionex DX300 system with the GPM 4 solvent pump. I run carbonate buffer through an anion Dionex column at 1.2ml/min running a standard Anion analysis.

I was running it normally when suddenly the pressure dropped. I noticed the purge valve was also blocked. I could'nt draw any liquid from it.

I tried using the second solenoid from no. 2 position instead of no. 1 and still the same problem. So all 4 solenoids block and I cannot draw liquid from the purge valve, and of course I cannot also pump through the column either.

I also noticed that If i leave the instrument off for like 1-2 minutes and then turn it on again the problem persists, whereas if I leave it off for like 15 minutes or more it tends to work again for 5-6 minutes and then the problem come back again..

Anyone that has experienced similar symptoms or could explain this?
Sounds like electronics / power supply overheating. Check the exhaust fan to see if it's running. Fans are cheap if that's the problem. You can get one from FRY's.
