CAn Anyone suggest me the Suitable GC Capillary Column For the Analysis of Trifluoroacetamide.
I want to separate the CF3COONH2 and CF3COONH4+(ion). and CF3COOH
The sample is highly soluble in water.

i want to quantify also the CF3COONH2 in the Mixture of Samples. please Suggest me the Suitable GC Capillary Column

There is no such column.

You should seek other means of analysis.

HPLC

wet chemistry

possibly TLC

Good luck,

Rod

Besides, I would be very much surprised if a CF3CONH3+ would form in normal wet chemistry, maybe with a superacid? (What is that CF3COONH2 and CF3COONH4+??)
The positive species wouldn´t be separated from the neutral amide anyway.

Also, TLC of TFA might be a bit difficult (volatility).
