Column holder fixing in Varian 3800 GS GC oven

Please advise how to install a non-Varian column in Varian GC 3800 GS oven? There is a holder of incomplete "A" shaped, but it is falling down in front, when it is not holded by hand.

If I understand correctly the column that you need to install does not fit onto the wire frame that comes with the GC ?

The easiest way is to take some wire and make another frame that fits the column.

Hello Peter,

No, this is not the problem. There is a hook on this holder on which a column should be hanged and the column fits it, but this holder itself can't stay at oven at vertical position. It is simply falling down (to the oven door). There must be a device to fix that holder at oven, but I can't see it around.
