How Empower rounding?

Anyone know how Empower rounding numbers?

Is same method as Excel?

I'm not sure how the rules work but you can make a sample set type calculation custom field to figure it out. Make the calculation increment by a number. You can then derive that answer from the results.

Hi,
Empower displays numbers in a similar way to Microsoft (such as in Excel) and should round in the same way (for example .5 rounded up and .4 down). However, it is possible that the numbers displayed/rounded for calculations in Empower differ fractionally from Excel.

In Empower, the numbers are stored in Oracle. Put very simply, Oracle uses a different format than Excel. Oracle’s format should give greater precision with its number representation and have greater “easeâ€
