I have a Hewlitt packard 1090 HPLC and no remote control cable for it. Does anyone know where I might find one?

The one for the contact closure? If it is the one that I am thinking of you can use a standard 9 pin RS232 cable or null modem... I forget which. Depending on what you are connecting to you may have to connect individual wires to the other device. The manual should show the pinout and what each pin does.

Are you looking for the no longer in production edge card remote control cable (DAD to Mainframe) ? If so, try here: http://www.hplctools.com/HP1090_Parts.htm

There are many different types of cables associated with the HP 1090A/L/M. Please provide a more detailed description or part number of what you are looking for.

BTW: None of the contact closure cables are DB9's. All contact closure cables use two pin AMP style connectors. Even the RCI board has a single error port which uses the AMP connector. The DB9 serial cables are for signal communication (TTL) to other devices. The HP 1090 uses all of these.
