Hi
I am facing a Flame out problem with my FID of Varian-450C at normal conditions but if we increase the Hydrogen flow it will work fine

So you should check the flowrate of H2 with a bubble flowmeter to see if it's correct.

Typical Detector FID settings are: 10% Hydrogen; 90% Air no?

If the FID is requiring more Hydrogen than normal, then problem is likely indicating that your glow-plug is about to burn out.

If the measured flows are correct the next step is to determine whether the flame is really out, or if the electyronics are indicating flame out when the flame is actually burning. Hold a cold shiny metal or glass surface over the detector, if you see condensation the flame is burning.

I have had two Varians that gave spurious flame out warnings when the instrument chassis picked up stray voltage from home made hardware. Do you have anything like a headspacer etc connected to the GC ?
